My pal was very involed with East end kennels back in the day and said all them fuckers would do you if you caught them having a bad day and most of them would even on a good day.

The straight Nelis/Tug stuff wasnt too bad although Smuggler done his owners 2 year old daughter as i remember and Neilson was a horrible b*****d but it was mainly the stuff crossed with Mayfield blood for some reason little Fenner tagged me a couple of times neither time anything too serious but he wanted it to be.

You ever come across a pair of apbt back in the 80s they were called yank and Nancy dog and bitch a lad I knew owned them and they were claimed to be the first genuine pair brought in from America paid a lot of money for them back then and the pups were going for a fortune

Cant say the names ring any bells mate.....the breed was in the Uk long before that though mate even old man Reid brought some over in 76 and i very much doubt he was the first.

They're thinking they look hard; look at the young lad down here that was mauled in a caravan.no reason to own the dig and it was already a proven liability

The dog in the case I referred to had already bitten another adult female at the house and mauled a dog o the street .

apparently the lad who owned it was in the army and would take it on physical training . Weighed 40kg

What chance was a grandmother half cut on news years eve ever gonna do to that clamped into that little girl ?

she was that badly damaged that the first paramedics and copper on scene had to attend counselling and the family weren’t allowed into see her .

how awful is that ???

All for the sake of it not being in a coal shed and run , insanity

So had this dog, 3 people that where recorded and probably more. The lad went my girls school and only lived the other side of the estate and the dog had a reputation around here for being a c**t. The f***ing thing was a 45kg liability and left with an 8 year old lad in a caravan while his mum got pissed in another van. After the first incident it should have been destroyed

A pal of mine brought two here to the north east in the early 70's.

He gifted me a bitch in the mid 70's;

I've seen the pics of him in it and yh he made a few quid through dogs and birds over the years. His oldest lad breeds staffs, Frenchies and chihuahuas.

A few of those lads that were in those circles did ok for themselves from all accounts. They're all characters; used to love listening to their stories in the kitchen as a kid.

Must admit that doesnt look like a purebred Apbt to me Charts but thats not to say isnt....what bloodline was it ?

The thing is back then nearly every dog of the breed being imported was for sport so people knew what they was getting in terms of blood as they'd made the right connections over the pond.

I don't know the breeding, but I'll find out, the guy has been a mate of mine over 60 years. He was/is well known in the game, obviously I won't name him, but I'll see what info he'll give me.

Cheers.
