Genuine dilemma here, would you plug yourself and your family in to the matrix if they offered you a life you could only dream of? A life of your choice where everything is perfect and you can do as you please. No worries about work, no covid and no politicians to piss you off? Everything would be as real as you could imagine. Just plug yourself in to this mate and you can go back to the 1800's with a complimentary horse & cart, once you're in you and your family wouldn't know any different. I was in a church the other day, the mrs wanted to look at the architecture. I decided to have a prayer (after all, I was raised Catholic and have taken all the bits). Have to admit, I felt like I did when I was a kid... a complete fuucking hypocrite. Even if I wanted to, I can't subscribe to faith. It also left me feeling a bit empty, that I could never achieve that childlike innocence of belief ever again.
