Gents to say I’m excited is an understatement I’ve just sold my old ProQ smoker on eBay and it surprised me how much I got for it so I took the plunge and have upped my game to an American Pit Boss Au

Buddy did a little BBQ for mother's day

Was nearly 9 hours in the end , melt in your mouth

Roast the bones in the oven, then high simmer/boil for about 4-5 hours. Give the cooled bones to the dog and you’ve got the best beef broth ever. Portion it into jars or freeze in ziplocks ;)

any one seen them traeger smokers in bandq  500 quid they worth a go?

I haven’t got a traeger but if you look at the first page of this thread I have put up a video of a Pit Boss which is the same principle I believe Kanny has one as well, bear in mind though it’s a smoker and not a BBQ even though you can BBQ on it in my opinion it’s not the same as charcoal BBQs it really comes into its own as a smoker first BBQ second.

Basically its not like the traditional bbq where you stand there cooking and turning the food ect its put food in set on control panel close lid drink beer open lid eat lol but its a good thing to have they cook food really well especially the slow cooks.

Yeh it’s the same sort of thing if I remember when Kanny bought his it was a similar size to that but a pit boss, all it is is an electric auger feeding flavoured pellets into a hot element that’s is thermostat controlled, reasonable price £500.
