Mate, I really don't think this is a colour/race thread...

The facts are the 3rd world is growing far quicker than the Western world and consuming/polluting on an ever increasing scale...it dont matter the colour of those people at all...thats just the way it is

No chance of depopulation now mate, its gone to far...

There is quite obviously a correlation between more humans and the demise of our planet...

From habitation loss, deforestation, pollution, reduction in natural reserves, over fishing, over farming (poor farming practices) etc etc... humans are destructive...more humans = more destruction... its not hard to work that bit out...

I'm not sure if you are anti contraception due to your faith and that is none of my business, but a stabilising of the earths population can only be deemed a good thing surely??

I find the arguments about Bill Gates or Prince Charles quite funny too... we are all in some way responsible, pick up some litter, recycle, walk more drive less...etc etc.... and I'm pretty sure from reading your posts you are conservation minded...so why you point at those you feel don't do enough as a reason not to do anything is a bit strange??

I see Attenborough doesn't get any stick just the usual scapegoats.

One could argue wether the likes of Bill Gates, Lewis Hamilton, Great Thunberg are  hypocritical for speaking up but the thing is they have a platform and that matters.

Nobody is going to listen to self sufficient Amos of the forest, he just doesn't have a voice.

Max

I'll let you in on a little secret jesus was the son of God, do you not think God being what he is couldnt have made jesus white, pink, purple blue or any other colour he wated to.... He's God for fcks sake

Wether you believe in god or not is irrelevant, but Jesus was more than likely a real person, and probably Jewish; a Semite.

Of the three main racial classifications; Caucasoid, Mongoloid, Negroid; Semites are classed as Caucasoid.

Olive skinned ? Brown eyed ? Probably, but Caucasian none the less.

But for the life of me I can't see what it's got to do with a discussion on the worlds population ! ? !

Cheers.

It’s got nothing to do with it at all mate as anyone reading knows full well.

Its just an attempt to wreck the discussion then play the victim, hopefully most folks are wise to that now?

They are trying to do it via education in Nigeria it said last night mate.

They were at a school and a few of the children had children of their own that they took with them to class.

They are trying to teach the young girls about their body, not getting into relationships too early in life etc etc

So Nigeria definitely recognises there is a problem and they are doing what they can at a local level......however, how effective can one local Teacher be ?

I'm honestly not sure it's a deliberate attempt to wreck the thread tbh. The fellas an imbecile probably thinks hes having a meaningful input.

My favourite was when he tried to call somebody brain dead but said Brian dead then when called out on it said it was an inside joke.

Aw well another thread ruined. Not sure why I came back on here total nonsense.

I know someone called Brian Dead, he's lives next-door to Ray Topposite.

The “one child” policy sounds great in theory but it said last night that the only country to implement it found that it caused massive problems.

See, in the poor countries they only wanted male children to help with the work and so infants were being murdered at birth and it caused imbalance in certain areas

Education is key, and people speaking out about these issues ..

Whether its old Hugh and his fight for sustainable fishing or Bill Gates and his clean water push... or Packham and Attenborough looking at over population etc... they have the voice for the masses to hear...so love them or loathe them it matters not if what they are saying does a little good along the way...

African countries and major cities are starting to change and education is key to this... China and other far Eastern countries are without doubt going to have a huge impact on how the earth looks over the next couple of hundred years ... when most of the world's manufacturing is shifted into one region because its cheap..can only lead to shit around imo...

Itll never work mate, no chance.... improved living conditions, education so youngsters survive and have some opportunities, along with contraception is the way....

The Western world don't have as many kids because the majority survive and have something to live for...
