Vet's Prescription Charges?

I want to buy some jabs / drugs. But, they want a script, from a vet.

How does this work out, please?

Put simply; What's the average going rate for one of those white coated, worthless kunts to rubber stamp a bit of paper?

Vets are pretty sound over here, they don’t rip the arse out of anything.

You can also just buy a lot of stuff over the counter in your local vet or agri store which you can’t do in the UK

Our vet here I have to say is brillant, all for the working man and his dogs. Never charge outrageous prices, always on the phone if needed, and no bother coming out at anytime. 

He's pushing on now, took a small stroke this year, but returned to work.  Like everything else, he will be proberly be replaced some snow flake

I'm 90% sure the way the government decide if a drug is script or not is simply "Does it work then? It does! Ah well we had better regulate that".

I've never taken an over the counter drug that made a f**k of difference. The vast majority of vet appointments end with metacam and norclav that you'll shell out £100 for when truth be told the actual drug costs is like a fiver.

Spot on mate, look at paracetamol. It's 99% placebo effect at the dosage you can buy it

My old vet bang on,loves a working dog,was greyhound track vet for the evenings too.just had huge cancer lump removed from dog,large op had blood vessels bleeding out,stiches,meds,overnight 24hr care,drain removed,then another suringe fluid removal,several check ups,then more staples put in cause dog was messing with it,and finally stitches out.900.

Rabbit jabs, Wilf. Strange one, eh? I googled about them and found, straight away, that it's just a jab. We can do that. No need to transfer my bank balance to some arsehole who once told me - in front of a witness: " Dogs aren't really cut out for eating meat, you know. "!!! Yes! That level of 'What the Fukk am I even doing here?!'

And, these jabs aren't free. Want five or ten of them? You're gonna feel it! And I need a script to even shell out for them. Ouch!

Made me laugh in the vets,im in with my 150 quid bullxwhippet,the bills 900,no prob paid it up.sat down to wait for meds.in walks a tri coloured french bulldog pup,everyone's petting it,asking about it,oooh hes lovely etc,etc the birds asked how much was it.3650 she said.then rants at the desk cause her bills 38.50.ffs stupid c....t.i said to my ole vet about it.got the money for the celebrity hound,but not the dollar to look after it.he was laughing.

I don't actually have Any rabbits, just yet. But, when I get some, I want to look after them

I cant eat bunrab,anymore shot 138 one thurs eve,then fri eve.the smell gutting them.
