Thermal Handheld Advice

Love my xm30s, for me it was about a small pocketable thermal to spot a heat source ( not bothered about crisp outlines ect) and this one works a treat. Can’t help but think you’d have got a far better deal with Ian at Blackwood outdoors tho.

So I went ahead & bought an XM30S, and trialled it the other night. Quite simply I cant fault it! Its tiny, fits in my pocket, and range is excellent to pick up heat sources at great range. S

Don't buy a Helion xp50 I have one and won't see anything more with it than when I had my Helion xq38 and 1500 quid more the Helion xq38 is about the best for the money on any spotter iv had most of t

Yeah exact reasons I went for it bud.

Maybe but I've dealt with SCI few times & cannot fault them for customer service, speed of delivery & aftermarket.

Never owned a thermal spotter, i wouldn't mind one but even at £1300-£1400 its too much for me unfortunately especially atm, but those pictures look very clear to me, were they taken in the daytime or nighttime?

Do you alwats use that color setting ? I played round a bit other night but think one i opted for mainly was red something, screen all red.

Yeah tried em all and the one I do like for daytime is Red monochrome, not been out at night yet so it may change.

You’ll get use to using different pallets Ben, the picture is generally better in winter as everything is warm at the moment... I was out last night and used one that I never use cos it was so warm but it picked up heat sauces the best
