Gaoler 83
Hi all, I have a HW100 & Falcon FN19 in .22, for pellets I have been told the above are both made by JSB, also I am told they use different dies. Which pellet do you think is better suited for my rifles? Cheers Quote Link to post
Jonjon79 13,358
I think you've been given correct info but, the only way to tell which is best for your rifles is to test them. ......... it's all part of the fun 1 Quote Link to post

In my experience, it won't make a blind bit of difference mate. ......... leave that to the FT boys. 1 2 Quote Link to post

villaman 9,982
You need to try different pellets , most HW like falcon accuracy plus , the fly faster and flatter 625 -630 FPS and with AA fields or JSB 575-580 FPS 1 Quote Link to post

Mitch, ( Villaman ) put me onto the lighter pellets some three years ago , Falcon Accuracy Plus in .22 and JSB Exact Express in .177. I`ve just bought a classic MK1 HW 80, in .22 and the Falcons are very powerful and extremely accurate, here's her numbers Gaoler. 626.64 ft/second, 11.71 ft/lbs atb, Mark. 1 Quote Link to post

Hi Mark, My HW100 is set at 11.75, with 15.89 grain JSB, never been one for figures, how will the lighter grain effect the ft/lbs and performance. Quote Link to post
villaman 9,982
Fap will be about 11.5 ftlbs and will take the wind better as it’s travelling faster , so not in the air as long Quote Link to post
