things getting back to normal now. the wife dropped me off at work Thurs morning parked at home then went to the shop cum Post office a short walk away to buy milk, about 6-10 am. just her in shop elderly owner was on his way to the counter when two masked men burst in, one with a gun other carrying a axe. they grabbed her and put the gun to her head and said open the fxxking safe or she gets a bullet. he couldn't open it as it's on a timer. they then roughed the owner up and took cigarettes and emptied the till. wife seems to be coping well considering. living in a village I never thought it would come to this.

Terrible ordeal for your wife and elderly shop owner, hope the recover from it quickly. 

Sadly it's every where now. The laws aren't strict enough on these people. Toughen up the laws and it might deter some of them.

Cheers, she wants to move on but had 2 police interviews and they want to interview her again next week so it just brings it all back.

This is the why it’s so bad that Varadkar is trying to import all these odd marks into Ireland mate......this is the legacy he is saving up for Ireland.

Sorry to hear about your wife and the oldboyjust had the police here.... On my way to Southampton this morning and wife rings me....... Let me know that my work van was broken intosecond time since last Sunday morning smashed the window, let off the handbrake and rolled it off the wall I park it up against...... Thankfully there's no way of getting in the back without a chipped keyscummy f***ing cnuts

I have to say where i live is very good. No crime, drugs or violence. Very clean and safe. Thsts down to it been a rual place, with everyone knowing everyone else.

But this country should and could be run a lot better for its own people, not getting involved on other countries issiues, but looking after it's own first. 

What's need is new blood, to make the tough and distasteful decisions and see them through for the greater good of the country and its people.
