though i read somewhere  , that more (rich) pet dog owners  , were having couple big breed dogs ( boerboel, etc) knocking about there place to stop the leopards taking there small dogs , it need something like them  as leopards   as massive strength  drag a 120lb deer up tree easy.

Leopards kill any dog mate and eat it tho a did see some hunted wi hounds treed and shot and same wi lions but reckon if the dogs ran in to tackle they be pretty much fecked

In America they hunt mountain lions with dogs all the time, use the dogs to track the lion and then tree it so it can be shot. They use a pack of dogs though not just one and dogs don’t actively engage with the lion.

They do the same with leopard in Africa mate.
