big napper 3,559
Went to a local perm this morning 15 mins away from home, seen a good amount of rabbits about and managed to get 2, roll on when the cover dies off. 7 Quote Link to post

The one 8,397
Nice going mate covers still horrendous if they dont die on the spot a little bit of break dancing from them throws them into cover and when your lamping you can spend more time looking for a dead rabbit than shooting 1 Quote Link to post

Its no so bad in daylight , but when lamping i take another lamp and leave the rifle in the car and the amount of times ive laid my cap down and walked round in circles till i find the rabbit and then think how the hell did i no see that Quote Link to post
chrismdd 787
Nice shooting, yes can't wait till cover dies back down here too. We have to leave ferreting until later each year due to cover taking so long to die back these days. All our ferreting is in thick hedgerows and its not much fun battling shoulder high nettles and hogweed when its still warm. 1 Quote Link to post
