Fools and their money I’m afraid on the gundog game

hprs, spaniels , labs, can all be leathered into money making schemes whereas in reality a good quiet handler can use or breed anything himself to a very very good standard

just out of interest, if anyone fancies a walk down that side , you can use my fox red. For a dog pup back .

No pedigree or big names . Just a grafter

If a man fancies a robust wee Mouching jukel,..a Labrador /Running dog hybrid will certainly fit the bill.  There are loads of good honest working Labs around,..they don't have to be Field Trial

That's exactly what he's after Phil...a mouching partner....doesn't need a speed machine or a coursing dog. When I was after a pup a couple of years ago Northernlite put me in touch with him,he gifted

I reckon some handy well put together pups could be produced from your dog mate, just look at some of the saluki lurchers they can appear spindly and frail, but when you have a closer look they are often structurally solid with good bone density, strong feet etc

Cheers pal to be fair he is a good dog.he's our 1st lab as I was a bit lost with having dogs all my life then not having 1 for a few years you miss having something to walk  as no lurcher pups came up I fancied or I missed out on them we decided to get him.I do alot of hill walking and he does most of them with me.I don't utilise him to be honest to his full potential as I'm not into shooting and should of took him beating when I got offered but we have a steady mooch and he thinks he's a great hunter and that's all what matters??
