Personally, I’m pleased Wilshere isnt stealing a seat from someone more deserving, 

I’d have taken rooney, and more controversially probably shelvey to bully those teams trying to play football against us late in the game. 

Nice to see form being important though and I think well easily get out of the groups. 

But and this is a big but, I don’t see a lot of other formation in side other than the dreaded 3 5 2 that we are shite at. 

Looks a lot like pumping balls into Kane to knock on with vardy running deep . I hope they’ve brought their lungs!!!

On paper it looks alright

but hasnt every england team thats gone to a major tournament?

Pace is the key , Rashford Vardy Sterling can hurt any team though I think Kane will play ahead of Vardy & deny that threat !!

One thing I will say is that there is not a lot of dig in that team. 

As in when it gets late and the tackles start coming in. 

Should definately have taken rooney and it’s a shame Oxlade-Chamberlain is injured .

The attack looks ok ,can't see much creativity in midfield though ,Alli seems to run hot and cold ,and a lot may depend on him ,the defence looks very ordinary ,to get anywhere I think they have got to build up a bit of momentum ,get confidence going and collectively play at a higher level than the sum of their parts ,,good luck to them !

Pace and power won’t count for shit if you can’t get the ball, so our ability to change our game and mix it up a bit will be telling.

Wont be a lot of good knocking the ball long into channels if you give possession away cheap then struggle to get it back.

Some decent ball retention mixed up with a few decent balls over for Kane and Vardy to run at.....keep teams guessing.

Being positive, the football culture that the likes of Guardiola has brought to England and that these lads have grown up with will hopefully be a positive thing.

I hope Pickford is better than he was against my little hammers the other day because that performance was weak.

No Joe Heart which is good, he is shite.....so shite in fact that even we got rid of him ! Lol 

Happy for Vardy, the lad was playing non league not so long ago and now he is at a World Cup......any lad who has been in football should be all over a fairytale like that.

At least it will be interesting to see something a bit different.......or maybe we won’t ?

Now I know this is a bit of kennel blindness because I can’t stand the dude but do we think Sterling will be robust enough?

Maybe he is in the modern game, 20 years ago he wouldn’t have lasted 2 minutes imho.......he would have been getting put in row Z every week.
