Bench rest

Recommended Posts

1 x Carp Coarse Fishing Mini Tripod Rod Rest Tackle + 1 3" V Pole Roller

Im making a bench rest out of the above just needs a little strengthening

on the legs .

and may be an inch off the bottom of the legs.

some may think its ok the way it is and the rollers roll when the rifle recoils so it dose not jump

when you think a vanguard rest costs £60+ to buy .

this even if you have to sort it out a bit at£9+ is just the job

It definitely looks sturdy enough Jimmy

But, I've always found that my POI changes between shooting a springer off my hand and shooting off a rest.

...... It'll be interesting to hear how you get on with it.

I FOUND EXACTLY THE SAME  , I ZERO IN OFF HAND NEVER BENCH RESTED

I bought a Remington bench rest a couple of years ago, really solid and works well on springer, PCP and rimfire although I paid a fair bit less than eBay price BUT I am so pleased with it that I would pay this price.

Like said, looks a sturdy little unit that Mac. I’m not one for imagining you to shoot off sticks though mate...

Whats your plans for using it? Now your old raider will be looking down on you now wishing she had that to sit on... imagine that :)
