Got the kids involved in preparing Christmas dinner this year, my godson came over to help pluck the turkeys... don't get much fresher than bringing them on yourselves!!

That's one small piglet to be eating mate, saw off its snout and trotters next time and you'll get a bigger one in the oven !  Bet it was as tender as feck though !!!!!

Pre cook weight was around 3.5 kg. Roasted on a thick bed of onion, tomato, celery, carrots and fresh herbs. Bit of water added to the pan as its cooks and baste in the juices every 15-20mins.

The dog just finished destroying the snout and trotters.
