I can remember watching England in the pub beat Scotland at Rugby. As I do every year. As the only Englishman, I was subject to the usual casual racial abuse. I smirked as usual . A mate of mine ruffled a Scottish flag in my face and I pretended to wipe my arse on it. Whereupon a ginger dwarf of the female sex, who was serving behind the bar, vaulted across the bar and flew at me cursing, scratching biting etc. Much merriment all round, except the wee bugger wouldn't serve me for weeks. Never thought when I was out in France in 98 when we last qualified would be the last time for 20 feckng years!
