Free Bsa Meteor

don't get to excited........

this came from a old boys shed, who sadly passed away

last week. my mate who was knocking the shed down found it as seen.

might be of use to someone, barrel clean inside and it breaks ok.

just the stock broke and no rear sight. he was going to dump it.

any takers ???? collection only.

UPDATE......UPDATE.....UPDATE......   As promised, here's the pictures of the BSA Meteor restoration. We repaired and refinished the stock, reblued the metalwork and replaced all the bolts with nice

If it can be posted I'd be very interested......

 

My club has a member who's a bit of a restoration wizz - we could use it for the youngsters who haven't got their own rifle yet.

Just the sort of thing i like to hear blackbriar

 

ill save you as a friend and any thing that i come across that the kids need ill let you know

 

Samuria i just tell them its sporting goods

 

but you can send them legally with them but you have to say its under 12fp and an air rifle

Like Mac says - you can send it legally by PF48.

 

Personally, I find the people behind the post office counter usually know f**k all about what can be sent and, it's such a ball ache trying to educate them - now, I just wrap the living daylights out of stuff and lie to them :thumbs:

 

The last 2 parcels I've sent Mac were decorative wooden carvings and, bicycle chassis parts :whistling:

 

One old battle axe tried to tell me that airgun pellets were classed as ammunition :blink:

 

She still hadn't developed a sense of humour when I went back a couple of months later and told her that I was posting kittens and hand grenades :laugh:

 

It just needs to be wrapped well mate.
