Thats the point...work like fcuk run yourself into the ground with worry and stress to pay the bills and the mortgage and have nowt in your pocket at the end of the week. Then theirs working tax credits so some employers can take the piss in paying low wages to boost profits knowing the tax payer will prop their workers wages up.

I started out in farmfoods filling freezers and serving old women 6 days a week the second I finished my GSCE's (I got the job before I left school at the behest of my dad). I worked there for a while and then moved away to study at 17. Paid my flat and studies by working in a nightclub glass collecting, moved up the ladder by getting a job fitting blinds while studying my degree, the Mrs at the time fell pregnant, so I took a second job at the weekend and a third during the weeknights. Passed my degrees, continued to grow by opening my own blinds business. Left that to pursue a career in business. Started out again at the bottom in a recruitment company, worked my way up. Was head hunted by a business company in BCN left there for a better position, continued to grow and now I've taken the leap to create my own company. I have my first project comming up in November worth grand.

 

You are a slave if you are lazy and fuucking stupid. Opportunities exist for all, most just don't see them because the people around them when they grow up are worth fuuck all! Morally repulsive and role models to none.

 

Both my parents have cerebral palsy, my dad after he finished his engineering degree worked at Bellings and then Remploy. He taught me it's not what you are given, it's what you earn. Shame most parents aren't like that imo.

Mushroom, I could not have said it better. Work hard and reap the benefits. I was taught good work ethics by my parents. I've always grafted, I've got no qualifications and struggle reading and writing, but through hard graft and putting my self out there I have two good businesses, with one employing 8 staff. You only get out of life what you put in, I've never been given out, and I've took chances over the years.And also fooked up the odd time and been in the sh1t, but always got myself out there. Too many moaning folk today, I want this and that and do nowt about getting it, a lot think this world owes them a living .

Listen fella dont try and get smart with me... lol ive worked since 14 never done 1 exam worked in shithole england..new york for 7 years then canada for a year and own my own bizness i know what its like to work hard and dont have any degrees so dont know who your trying to slabour to you think your that smart because you have a degree your stupid..

Lol so when you get your business what will you pay your employees..minnium wage i bet.. you also want the violins out about how you packed bags and worked 3 jobs at one time and you have degrees.. you that stupid you dont even realise what you said...you had to do all that work because your wages were shite.. which was what i was saying...now away and go rollerblading or walk that dog you cant handle you...
