kjmkjm 24
Hi. Just took on a 1/2 cross bull lurcher. He's 2nd generation and very racy. Breeder expects him to make 27-30 tts. He's a lively active pup, such strong instinct for a 16 week old pup. He currently stands at 21tts and is so so confident. Barks at any large dog he meets already! He bullys my thi mix x bull at home then looks for defence out in the fields. Was just wondering if anyone has herd of MR TEE the bull? He's registered on the apbt database and herd from friends farmer boys in Ireland have sired him. Any info or support would be great. ATB, Kier. 1 Quote Link to post
C.green 3,258
I wouldn't say barking at other dogs is a sign of confidence pal. All the best with it 6 Quote Link to post
Saltmoon 2,208
My mother in laws dog bark like he'll at other dogs and that's a nervous thing personally I'd rather a nice quiet dog if it's going to be a worker don't want something making a fuss over nothing 1 Quote Link to post
kjmkjm 24
Completely agree. Ive never had such a gobby pup, think it might be my other dog giving him confidence? Without him on the walk he will submit to anything. Not at all saying it is good, just trying to understand. Ive only worked with gun dogs since a kid, so any advice is golden... Thanks for the replys. Quote Link to post
kjmkjm 24
Also from what I know, he was the runt. Quote Link to post
kjmkjm 24
Barking has only started this last week. He's very well socialised, even playing with pup collie today he was just chasing and barking? Quote Link to post
