That'll keep him out of trouble! Does he not get confused with the stances? I've always found I can't train for both at the same time,I end up square on and wide open in boxing and side on and open to leg kicks and getting ragged about in the clinch in Thai. Francie 6,368
Aye mate he did at the start, but hes learning to switch stances, it is confusing at times, but he seems to be adapting quite well to both stances, he should learn both at this age an progres with it an see were it takes him. I used to train with a girl who ended up very good,I think she was picked for the Olympics after only about a year after switching from Thai to boxing. Her boxing coach got her to fight out of a southpaw stance when she switched because she couldn't stop going square on and her movement wasn't very sharp. I was thinking that'd be the way I'd do it if I trained both, different lead foot for both sports. Edited June 1, 2017 by neems

ChrisJones 7,975
when you get tested in the military you have to fill in a form declaring what meds your on which can be checked with your medical centre so any positive result that's contributed to by legitimate meds is ignored ... if your on any drugs in the military it's a role of the dice before your caught ........ I understand that. Would it be also possible that a medical professional could prescribe a normally banned substance, thus legitimising it in the eyes of the CDT program? Like you say if it's a legitimate med, under medical supervision, it's ignored. That's exactly how the Williams sisters are getting around the IOC testing. Read my post again chris, at the end of the day when you look in the mirror your only cheating yourself, no matter what governing body says. Plus imo money aint that important for me just to take pedds to be a sucess mate. Plus the military is not a f***ing game mate, its life or death. Im no angel so im not looking down on anyone i just think it shouldnt be encouraged, cause children will fall foul of this. I did, mate and frankly I'm baffled. You stated earlier that you don't know much about PED's but then stated that there is no excuses for it as it's cheating. Then you appear to give the military an exemption. I just think it's a tad hypocritical of us to sit here and criticize the use of banned substances when we're completely okay with their legalisation on another thread. On a side note if you're as passionately against this as it appears you might want to have a serious chat about it with your youngster. If he progresses to a higher level he will be exposed to this. Nothing wrong with education. Edited June 1, 2017 by ChrisJones

If your referring to cannabis then yes for recreational, but not to enhance performance. Id exempt the military cause its not a competition to see whos best lol Well hes only seven now chris lol so il say nothing at the minute, but hel be fed the best grub an good training hel not need them.
