Air Arms S510 Superlite

Recommended Posts

My shooting buddy has one - nice, accurate rifles but, I don't like those stocks. I think they're made from Poplar - the stocks are soft and they mark easily.

Also, there are some marks and splintering around the sling studs.

Excellent rifle, crap stock.

never had a super light ,but the 510 ultimate sporter i had was an excellent rifle,

the only fault i could find was the weight...

it was supper accurate with loads of different pellets and the fps spread between 190/110 was better than any thing I've owned!!

good rifles

I have the aa410 carbine superlite, great accurate rifle , But i hate the cocking bolt on it . Not smooth at all and needs a bit of force to load , otherwise you double load.

I am thinking getting rid and getting the aa510 with the side action lever , much easier smoother than the bolt system on the 410. Also have the rapid 7 which is fantastic , but a heavy rifle and my back isntbthat good these days and it plays havoc with .

No i went to my gunshop yesterday to trade in my .22 shin shung career 707 as it was too heavy... too powerful for what i need and just wasnt happy with it... They had this s510 there which was a display gun and once i had it in my hands i loved everything about it..went home lastnight had a think about it and just went today and paid half of it...should be in my cabinet in the next 2 weeks.. buzzing to get out and get using it now.

Is it on ticket then? You lot over there can have higher outputs... I think.

Yes here in Ireland we can have high powered air rifles but everything has to be on ticket..the shing shun at max power was very powerful..think it was 12lb at lowest 80lb its highest...the s510 at lowest is 12lb and 30lb max.
