socks 32,253
I was ferreting a nice little mound yesterday and decided to get my phone out to film the pup as she was covering the warren nicely ... after a couple of minuets I stopped recording ... at that very same second a rabbit bolted from the top hole on the mound just below the pup and headed towards the bottom set of holes ... the pup was on it in a flash and as it got to one of the holes the pup dived sort of sideways with her head down the hole and in one movement came tumbling out and onto her feet with the rabbit in her mouth which she promptly brought straight to me ... I still can't believe that I missed it all on film I was gutted and chuffed all the same time ... as I said sods bloody law ... heading up north in a couple of weeks time for a bit of fun with the pup so I will try and get some footage up there ........ 10 Quote Link to post

brenner 773
Sounds like he has that die hard striking ability and natural retrieval intincs of a Good whippet. Is there a touch of whippet in him by any chance.. Lol. All kidding aside, I'm glad for ye. It's moments like that , that make it all worth while putting the time into a pup a.t.b with it 1 Quote Link to post
