forest of dean redneck 12,023
He brought a lot of laughter to a lot of people, but my eldest sister served him, when she worked in WH Smith (years ago). She said he's the rudest, most obnoxious person she's ever met...... My Dad was on a cruise & the woman who played Nora Batty was on it as well, he said she was vile , miserable old cow he said .. then the following year Paul Daniels & Debby McGhee was on the ship & he said they was a cracking couple, stood chatting to people for the whole cruise & he posed for photos when folks asked him That's magic ! Sorry Kay had to say it pmsl

I was a security officer at a shopping centre, when me and a colleague recognised him. After a couple of minutes of "You ask him", "No, you ask him", I approached and asked if I could shake his hand - the hand that knocked Cassius Clay over, no less ! After telling me there was no need to call him "Mr Cooper", he obliged, signed autographs and chatted, even when quite a crowd had gathered. Absolute gentleman and pleasure to have met him !

Nicest celeb I ever met (not met many lol) was Norman Wisdom , I worked on his house , absolute gentleman , a funny man in normal life , had some good chats with him and a real down to earth bloke who in his hay day was a top star . . Though he never lost his common touch when trying to knock a few quid off the work :)
