Went on a invite today with the whippet, off a lad called Tom that's got a good young blue whippet dog, had a good few hour bolting to the dogs, I enjoyed watching his young keen dog work. didn't get much on cam because I need a new battery and the wind was that cold I couldn't feel my hands .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9r5Dmz1EU6M

Only went on a small part of it, some parts are rocky but no need to go on them bits it goes on for miles.

it wasnt too bad when the sun came out mid morning today mate.. It turned out nice mid afternoon for a while.

 

Big lad had 4 in the bag while I was making the bacon and black pudding butties this morning ... and he finished off the day on the other side of the wall from the truck digging his last bunny..So he even got a cuppa tea passed over the wall to complete the VIP experience.

 

I'm gonna start charging for the pleasure of my company...

What are you doing trev70?! Do you not know that whippets are shit, and are FAR INDISPERIOR to a bull cross, for working etc?! Lol, I like all sighthounds, but whippets ARE my favourites. THE most underated dog of all time, especially on this site. I've owned whippets in the past that would make many modern day lurchers look slow and less than ordinary at ALL quarry. And I could write reams about them, but I won't, people aint interested, unless it's got 'a head like a bucket' etc lol.

Anyway, keep your posts coming, I really enjoy them

Whippets are great we dogs and add alot to the rabbit dog Trev you put some amount of rabbits away well done mate what age are the pups now just curious because of the coursing thread people are slagging sombedyfor giving dog one run after having a litter 11 weeks ago

Thanks Trev do you mind if I put that up.on the coursing thread as there saying you shouldn't run a dog after it having a litter and they are 11 weeks old just to prove it can be done with proper care
