eveing lads had me pups out this morning for a walk any way iv come back home tonight and me pups all swelled up mostly around that left eye something must of bit him theres also a few little lump of top of the head what you think?,iv give him a antibiotic and will get him donw vets in the morning

As above he should be looking better by morning... couple my dogs have been bit give them half piriton or piriteeze can't remember which it is im sure one of them ya can't give dogs and they were fine by morning

my terrier had same happen to her few months back. think she had a reaction to something when out on a walk gave her a piriton and was back to normal in few hours

ANTIHISTAMINE (ALLERGY TABLET. ) To many jump straight for antibiotics blindly its not an infection antibiotics given blindly can create problems like masking symptoms and when they are needed they are often not as effective bacause of over use.

As said piriton or cheap version all the same should do the trick happened to my bitch in the summer fella she came second best to a bee hive in an old rabbit warren, head was like a ballon but gave her some antihistamines and kept an eye on her and in a day or two she was fine ?

Aye antihistamine and anti inflammatory would be what I'd go for..

 

My dogs head swelt like a balloon one day.. Dont know the cause but though bee or wasp sting..

 

Have a look for small puncture hawthorn / blackthorn can cause infection / poisoning.

 

If it's not gone down, I'd ring the vet mate..
