mikewh79000 16
What a nice intro from France. Not sure what exactly you hunt in the Loire Valley but I'm sure you'll be showing us. Welcome. Jok. As above purely Ragondins on private land with written permission and on my own lake/land. Work closely with my permission givers as to time/shooting angles/ data feedback etc. They can be quite challenging , certainly very different from rats, woodies/ rabbits etc. Interesting animals really ( up to 8 kilos ) shame about the potential disease carried. Extremely careful in removal of carcass and destruction of same. Some over here incinerate or bury. Would describe swimming moving targets challenging for me, require a small leadoff . Normally head out of water only. Not really suitable quarry for low powered .177. Just learning video editing for short clips. My pal and I are evolving certain techniques for these nocturnal creatures. Setting up on a sloping lake shore without a lamp can be fun ( nearly me and expensive gear went swimming) - stop laughing. Talk about Jerome K Jeromes 3 men in a boat and yes there was a dog there as well. Got to go the management is calling Safe shooting Quote Link to post
