Hw100 Verses Rapid 7

well i never thought id say this as i thought my rapid 7 was the ultimate hunting gun,but since i got macs 100 off him it out shoots the rapid,ive had 3 100s but never owned one as accurate as this in 22,dont know what mac has had done to it if anything,or its just a mint one out the box,but this one is a keeper,thanks mac

For most the time i thought My 100 was better than my rapid but I kept reaching past the 100 to take the rapid out and eventually sold the 100.

I have two Rapids in the cabinet, yet I always go for the 100 every time, right now it's not grouping good but when it's sorted it takes some beating

ive had 2 mk1 rapids and a mk2 have to say the hw100 is better for me nit saying that others may say rapids they like and use to good effect

Hw for smoothness and accuracy rapid for tuning but hw with buddy conversion for huge shot count

Hard to choose between a well sorted rapid or HW100.

I've got a cracking MFR off Jeff on here and it's butter smooth to operate. I've had numerous HW100 models and would buy another any day of the week. I really couldn't say which I'd pick up first if they were side by side.

Can only speak for the HW 100`s myself as I`ve never hunted with the Rapid.

My 100`s have taken some big bags of vermin and I`m very pleased with them both.

 

HW 100`s in any format take a lot of bettering and ( for me) nothing is doing that yet.

The physical act of cocking a springer whilst in waiting, compared to the cocking of the HW 100 is the " let down" for a springer.

 

Accuracy wise, they are both spot on.
