did a private job a few weeks ago and got talking to the customers father...

he has a camp site and was moaning about woodys sh!ting all over the caravans!

so i offered him a solution :gunsmilie:

so this morning a thought id call round and say hello, he took me for a walk round and showed me whats what, there are still ppl on the

site due to the kids holidays but next week it will be closed for the winter

there is a beck that runs parallel to the site with a wood besides it!

its his wood too so he said i could go in there and shoot today..... typical wooodys when in the campsite they don't flinch but as soon as i crossed the beck it was a different matter!! ninja mode :ninja:

result 3 woodys all nice and fat for the plate, first landed in the beck so it stayed there second dropped like a brick from an oak tree at about 30yrd

third from back side of a firn through leaves and branches could only see a tiny bit of the bird..it required a neck stretch so no pic!

this last crow was dropped at about 50yrd... all free standing

forgot how much i like .22 couldn't believe the shot when i retrieved it!!

theres a rat problem to with the beck, it also has a skip tip behind the wood and a pig farm too.... i can see a visit on the horizon

good going.take it you like the wildcat

its ace toby

the way its balanced is mint!

no need for a sling, you can carry it easily without knowing it, which is bonus in its self!

and the accuracy and paintability is something else

What a lovely location. Even just visiting and not shooting.

What great results too.

cheers pesky

think its going to get a fair few visits, its only a mile from my house

its going to be even better when its shut, loads of places to hide on the camp!

there was a big rat on the bank that i was going to take out but a woman was having a brew on the caravan decking so it'll live a little bit longer!!
