How Easy Is It To Start Up

Recommended Posts

A friend of my son has just been paid off and rather being on the dole is going to start up doing something on his own with a small van he wants to buy from me . How hard is it now to start up something with out much qualification as I start up years ago in scrap and bought a old van and went for it before licences and liability insurance etc . I don't want to put a dampener and fair play to the fella idea but don't think it's as easy now is it ?

Scrap, Tyson Fury and shitting in hedges - Cushty's specialist subjects

It is amazing what you find in skips these days.     TC

As you say fair play to him, I'm sure if he puts the graft in (whatever he chooses) there will be opportunities to make a few quid... a man and a van is a useful commodity... house/shed clears, rubbis

Need to get out there going round the garages buying the batteries alloys cats etc get a round going they all Will say no untill they get annoyed with you turning up time and time again lol plan a route stopping of each time different places

Loads of money on scrap still

What's mixed fetching now.

Don't know I never mix them up but ik guessing if light iron is 60 quid currently mixed will be a lot cheaper they hate sorting it plus you make more money seperating it up I pull into the yard done times and find people have tipped stainless sinks copper boilers even lead pipes in the mixed metal it's stupid
