Shovel shy 4,033
Very smart mate. Two important things about kennels is they need to be free of draughts and have good drains.. very true mate, I've piped mine straight into the main sewer that runs out the back of my garden, I've used a pea trap so no smell comes back up. And all bedding boxes raised up off the floor, fully insulated and ply linedmine are exactly the same. Had to race thd concrete nearly 4 feet so the pipes sloped down to the mains.was well worth the hassle Quote Link to post

The reason I ask is I can get prefab one very cheap, but don't know if it'll hold up to being bastardised for the runs etc. Quote Link to post
Wild-Bill 500
Some cracking set ups there lads. Am in the process of doing mine the drains are in straight to the main sewer. Just deciding whether to do it block work or good timber? Quote Link to post
Treehands. 1,379
Having no main drains , I opted for a 4ft depth soak away across the back of the kennel. Good lighting is a must !!! 3 Quote Link to post
