Born Hunter 17,960
It lacked something, dunno what but it lacked it. It was still a decent film and part of a decent universe. BvS was very good and justice league is looking like it'll match it.

Malt 379
I watched it last night and all, was OK but I've seen better. I like the DC films on the whole, but I think they're trying to hard to catch up fast with the Marvel cinematic universe. It also didn't help they brought out Man of Steel as a more serious sort of sci fi film rather than your usual superhero sort of film, it all feels a bit disjointed. Still holding up hope the Flash is going to do justice to the character and also looking forward to the stand alone Batman film that's in the pipeline.
Malt 379
..also think the Joker/Harley Quinn relationship was way off. The Joker is supposed to be totally psychotic and beyond having feelings for anybody apart his constant obsession with Batman. In other media Quinn was nothing more than one of his victims suffering a very extreme form of Stockholm syndrome and hero worship. He tolerated her presence as long as it amused him and was constantly, brutally violent towards her. I'm all for diffferent artistic interpretation but this version of the Joker is nothing compared to the ones that have come before. Ps, yeah I'm a geek!

They had to do a more progressive take on the harley/joker thing. Audiences wouldn't have accepted the real deal. The joker is a real lunatic in this one compared to ledgers anarcist which I think is more representative but it a no win fight being the joker after ledger. He was a legend! Dunno which film it is but deathstroke is making an appearance at some point which will be cool as f**k for me personally. Aquaman looks surprisingly good too. DC stuff is knocking spots of Marvel for me. Edited October 10, 2016 by Born Hunter
Bosun11 537
It was shite... Great charicters, played by sound credible actors but the plot was pure garbage. Watchmen was/is far better!
