the late clyde beatty, generally considered to be the finest big cat trainer in circuses ever, began his career with bears. he gave up because he said they were 100 times more dangerous than lions or tigers, very difficult to predict their behaviour and you couldnt bluff or scare them like you can with big cats. but he said the punbters didnt realise this and thought they were just big and cuddly. he said working cats gave him a lot more prestige and status with far less danger. if you come across any of his autobiographies they are a good read

well watching the above 2 vids, a bear very dangerous animal , it dont want to just kill you and eat you, they look like there in a mad frenzy and want to rip you to pieces very dangerous bloody things
