Recommended Posts

Last night the better half went for a run in the dark stopped and heard like a breathing noise in the bushes so she tanked it up the road just keeping up with the digs st 30 mile an hour ?? came in and said to me to come out side the time she came home the noise was still there , Iv heard the noise before obviously not shitting it at the time cause I'm hard as f**k ???? , so what could it be it is like breather but there's two winds to it a higher nite then a lower I think it must be in the trees a bit a way ???

. The fact it's dark and in the woods, I'd be leaning towards a tawny owl with asthma,

Years ago in Hylton Castle in sunderland the newspaper ran a story of laboured breathing coming from the castle at night, several people including coppers heard it,the story ran that it was a ghost, people used to avoid the place,it was a nest of young barn owls hissing.

Thanks for all your comments the hissing barn owls sound the realist , I'll investigate more tonight

I was only joking about the asthma, tawny owl is probable as its a woodland owl, also a bit late in the year for chicks, if you can make an owl noise try calling it, I have an owl call as I can't make the noise, but I have had upto nine owls calling back at one time, but normally I get a couple replying, sometimes they will come quite close to see were the call is coming from,
