Cheers guys I just spoke to one of my nighbours and there were two in her garden so looks like they have escaped from some bodies aviary ... I can't see them lasting long around here with the amount of sparrow Hawks we have .......

No it could fly quite well so as soon as you got near it would take off .......

make a deadfall trap,but instead of a rock to squish it use an upside down shopping basket and catch it, I used to catch loads of birds with this as a kid

Cant work our how to label it, but im sure you get the jist and can tell difference between yourself, the birdy, the box and the string, if not feel free to pm me ken and ill run you through it..

I caught a goldfinch youngster that escaped from my aviary like that a few years back,it was still being fed through the wire by it's parents bt had no water so i used a bowl of water for bait and had it recaught within 15 mins of setting up on top of the aviary :D ..
