Jonjon79 13,358
No, because they'll play rough and enjoy it without bitching. They enter the field and relish the minutes to come. It's a complete contrast to the way that footballers, European footballers in particular, have learned to dive and protest for any advantage. There's nowt wrong with 2 teams of blokes getting together and enjoying the craic while trying to drink each other under the table after a hard fought game. You should have joined in - it's an experience to remember

I have never said any such thing, it's always egg chasers who want to refer to "how hard" rugby is........why do they do that?.....have they Got a complex or something? ginger beard 4,653
So it's a mans game because one bloke gives another bloke a sly punch?......... no because football is 90 minutes of men pretending there hurt and rugby is minutes of men pretending there not.
jiggy 3,209
Football is a more skilled game and thats why their paid 20 times the amount a rugby player is. Rugby is a good game to watch on tv because of the commentators bigging it up but i was at a wales v ireland 6 nations match before and it was the most boring game of any sport i ever watched and the fans were dry sh1tes its hard to beat a good football match for passion. But its obvious rugby players are physically stronger but id rather watch a thoroughbred racing than a clydesdale.
johnny boy68 11,726
The only thing that rugby and football have in common is they're both ball sports after that there's no comparison at all. The culture of both sports are completely different, you just can't compare imo.
