Got 4 rabbits but lost 2 in the long grass

 

6 crows they fell some where in the woods but i was in what me and Vis call the long walk field

 

shooting into the woods it was lights out as they fell

 

just got a photo of the two rabbits i retrieved

 

the new suit works lol

She did like the jsb exacts 15,89

 

but after the way she was shooting when i was zeroing her in im not sure any more it took some doing she was all over the place ,,,loads and loads of flyers ,,,,,you would think a scatter gun was used on the target she would just not group

 

you would blow the bull out with one pellet and the next would be a mile out i checked the silencer she was ok ,,,i pulled the scrim net back towards the scope so it was not in the way ,,,took the mag out and gave it a clean ,,but still the same result i only had it set out to 27yrds .

 

I even checked the scope and all the screws were tight

 

then all of a sudden it all came together and she was spot on put a full mag in a 5p circle with the next mag doing the same with just the odd flyer as normal

 

im going to try the oil trick on the mag as that is the only thing i can think off

 

as when i was putting the pellets in the mag they seam,d to make a clicking noise when i was pushing them in

and its never done that before

 

by the way i only used the one mag when i was zeroing her in and it all came together when i changed mags once i got the other one out of the tank ,

 

and i stuck with that one all night

 

i was that pi88d off i was going to go home and put it down to a bad night

 

Mind the hw100s was deadly when she sent her pellets on there way

I would have said a shite tin of pellets but if one mag produced good groups and the other bad it sounds like it's the mag but what's caused it.

I had a theory about loading the pellets in the 100 magazine as it's easier to load than a lot of mags you can get sloppy how you place them in the hole and apply pressure if they are going in at a slight angle causing slight damage to the soft lead of jsbs. That's part of the reason I went to the bis mags from the exacts in my 100.

I could be P*#+ing in the wind but it's worth a thought.

Vm this is the old perm i was at last night

 

and is recovering from all the shooting and mixie

 

so i had all ready made the decision to only take 4

 

counted 150+ kits mind but they were left alone

 

most about the size of my fist lol

 

I dont think it was the pellets as she loves them but i do think one of the mags was to blame

 

like i say,d when i pushed the pellets into the mag they made a CLICK noise and has never done this before
