love corvid shooting mac you have to be at your best if your after them in day time their eye sight is second to none

The last time me and Vizlauk were on them mind it did take three afternoons in a row up till dusk the final tally of the ones we could find was

380+

using a tx200 and a pro sport

full camo and face nets gloves and we kept moving from place to place we did not stay in one place long enough for them to click to what we were up to

You're doing better than me at the moment, I have a client with squirrels in their roof space.

I sited a number of traps in the roof on Monday, and spent a chunk of yesterday roaming through their garden woodland with the rifles and shotguns for help.

Not a single one in sight and not a touch on my traps.

Get the monkey nuts out deck , on the lawn , they'll so come and pay you a visit !

They have the bird feeders all over the place where the squirrels raid everything, and their garden is full of hazel, I have seen loads there historically, but they seem to know their number is up and are keeping a very low profile at the moment!

Compliments FTM ,nice shooting :good:

Lovely looking set up by the way :yes:

Deker, don`t know if this helps any, - we are roofers and were working on a roof last year that was plagued by a family of squirrels.

A private pest control firm was called in and they installed some sort of high pitched (sound) alarm that went off with any type of movement in the loft.

Those squirrels were gone within 12 hours ( and never returned) :icon_eek: and the noise was inaudible to humans, (the system stayed for just a week).

Squirrels very rarely cause me an issue, they can be in the traps before I leave site commonly.....or get shot....you may have seen this before...

I have never tried the audio on squirrels, never found the need, it is a complete waste of time on the rats/mice. I have some of the electronic rat stuff somewhere, one of my clients gave me their setup after it failed them and I sorted the problem, so who knows! :thumbs:

PS

Apologies, I'm not trying to hijack the thread!
