Apparently 275000 people go missing every year and that's just Brits not sure what the number is world wide but with millions of cctv cameras in Britain people pin numbered data based credit rated face booked emailed passport checked and gpsed you wouldn't think any of us could just slip away not for long anyway and then can be declared dead after a few years so the ones that havnt been killed under suspicious circumstances I wonder why they do it and were do they go and how do they just disappear and stay off the radar, false passports and disguise gota be up there for a start but with today's technology that can't be to common now..

People go missing for all sorts of reasons,totally dissapear off the radar,its the ones who are never seen or heard from again who are puzzling,some of them obviously met a sticky end.

There was a piece in one of yesterdays papers,theres 1250 bodies been found,drowned,murdered,unknown causes,all john or jane does,on the missing persons books,makes you wonder how many more are out there scattered around,rotting down,slowly dissapearing in the countryside.

Alsorts of reasons isn't there some choose to disappear and some get taken against there will, I would imagine those that want to disappear would be able to do it in some of these poorer populated country's but they've still gota get there haven't they, some of these that get taken against there will could be anything couldn't it we've all seen the storys of a women that's been trapped and confined to a room in a back street house for 30 years etc, when I was in Australia almost every hostel I stayed in had missing posters on the walls of backpackers that had gone missing without a trace mostly young female backpackers very sad..

I saw a few similar posters years ago when i did the annapurna circuit,the girls missing were japanese,i remember thinking at the time probably raped and disposed of under a pile of scree.

I did the Annapurna aswell mate but I don't remember posters there but there was a few solo female backpackers about which is good for them in some ways but they take a chance I think, some of these country's view western women different to us don't they thinking there all pawn stars, the women are confident tho arnt they and you can't really tell them, I kept a couple of them company and safe tho so atleast I did my bit lol, lovely the Annapurna isn't it I love Nepal .did you do any other trekks etc there I did the Everest base camp from giri which was really hard but loved it never forget it but I'd like to go back one day and do something else at some point I think tourism is quite low aswell there right now isn't it after what happend last year..

I did the basecamp trek mate,i liked nepal when i was fit as a lop,nowadays i couldnt shuffle down thamel never mind trek at altitude.Western women in large areas of asia are viewed as "easy meat",good job somalia/ethiopia doesnt feature in most thomas cook brochures,there would be a rise in FGM in female tourists,strange world.
