any of yas working lakies or older middleton stuff? ive ebbn out with a few and liked how they worked, most had cracking hard coats on them, very nice types of terriers

I know a couple of lads that used to keep a line. Mainly reds. Nice solid stuff. They seemed to fizzle them out in favour of black dogs. They rated the early stuff but just couldn't keep the standard going. I had a bitch pup off them that never came to anything. Nice bitch, game as hell but scared of the dark.

that just hard luck there mate, I was looking through the middleton thread but its archived so thought id start one again, theres ound to be a few still earning their crust by people on here

I personally don't no anyone that keep a working line of Lakeland. I no of one or two but not a kennel full

Some nice terriers on here fellas, good to see yas still have the grafters, hopefully they don't fall like the borders where only a few true workers survive. An of yas breeding yer own ones

I have a couple of working Lakies, fortunately for me I was lucky enough to keep my line going thanks to Kirstysdad who was kind enough to let me put his well proven Lakeland dog over my bitch, I searched long and hard for a well proven Lakeland dog to stud and it was well worth the wait, unfortunately the dog passed away last week but he has left some great blood from the pups he has sired and some real big boots to fill
