Gaz_1989 9,539
She's lovely mate. On my list of possibles for next year is the ridgeback. Grown up around bull breeds and Dobermans so they are on the list. But I do like the ridgebacks. I love ridgebacks because they are so laid back. She's the 4th I've had. 2 dogs and 2 bitches. Good guards, good company but also happy to snooze most of the day. Sound ideal. Mine will be a house dog to keep missus company when I'm working. And obviously a half tidy deterrent. Will drop you a PM about them closer to the time. 1 Quote Link to post

I think they ridgeback come under hounds is that right,? are the best lines in S/A or good stuff over here as well . My first dog was a monster. Nearly 30" and over 100lb, but that's the exception to the rule. My last dog was 28" and about 90lb which is what I'd expect. There's a lot of good lines over here. None of mine have been "show quality" but good healthy animals that lived to about 12. Technically ridgebacks are sighthounds. Quote Link to post

Nice him bird be he's hard to stop once he gets going he is mate, when he hits stuff it stays hit lol, plus he got great jaw on him as well . but he still agile enough to pick rabbits up, his best bag 36 , so not bad really for a dog of his size 1 Quote Link to post
