Last Night Outing

Same here last night,,,my bitch was toiling all night,,and in the end had to call it a night,,,it was warm and she had a lot of long runs,,that turned in to mini courses ,,,only for the rabbit to escape,,,

 

I did say to nottshunter on the way home,,I wonder if she's about to breakdown..

Funny this thread came up, missus woke up this morning and asked if I caught owt last night to which I replied she missed everything I think she's coming in season haha, excuses, excuses lol

It was wierdly warm last night the cr was daying 13 degrees and we were lamping really short sheep fields one run after another. It doesnt half test the dogs.

It happens. First part of season was like this for me with inexperienced dog, all over them only for rabbit to outmanoeuvre my dog n slip away, was really frustrating some nights. But he's seemed to have click recently, I hope so, so I can put them nights behind me lol

Had it 2 month ago both bitches were running rank rotten looked slow and lazy to a point the pup was doing my head at some easy chances. Left a week jus back road walking an back to it then it started to fall into place. At one point every man will go thru it some just don't like to admit it

I checked her over but didn't notice she was coming in ill keep an eye on her if she's sound when I check her over again later shes out again tonight only local it surprised me as these bunnys was right out. An when we got the five last week they was lamp shy bunnys likes been said just one of them nights

Even though we didnt get numbers it was still a good night to be out. Seen some of the craftiest rabbits alive that night. Cheers for coming over lee did me good to get out the house and stars a pleasure to watch run. Il definetly be atarting my pup alongside her.

Right after your little episode the other night I thought id try my bitch again last night well after a good start 3 out of 3 it all went tits up she hit a puddle and went cart wheeling into the ditch with a scream I've never heard before from her so run down to find her stuck in the middle of it not moving get her out and back to the car feeling sorry for myself thinking that's it its game over for her put her on the back seat rang the wife told her what had happened it would be easier to list what she didn't call me anyhow get home she at the the front door face like thunder looked in back dog just looking at me not a giggle out of her wife walks over looks In the f**king dog only jumps up wagging her tail that hard thought it was going to come off open the car door she take off on a lap around the green at the front of the house and into the house so i feed her look her over smallish cuts nothing bad so put her in her kennel now all this from a dog that up on till last night was all about me would never listen to anyone else now she ain't no world beater but she was mine and bond I've never had with any of the other dogs wife goes out this morning the dog dose it nut to get out to her i go out Notting she dont even bother looking at me till i get the leads to go for a walk feck me dogs a funny things haven't a clue what I've done to her but it safe to say over the holidays there will be a lot of time spent with the bitch [dog now not the wife ] all in all a very enjoyable night sorry about the long post abt bob

dogs certainly are funny creatures. That dog of stud dogs litterally wont go anywere without him. Its like its got an emobalizer in it. Cant beat a loyal dog though in my opinion.

This dog was the same up on till last night she was the only dog the wife couldn't bring for a walk because she wouldn't move out the yard without me .
