FUJI 17,623
Had ourselves a leisurely stroll out earlier today local to me just heading towards Cockermouth, the floods this past week has destroyed much of the landscape that ive pretty much known all my life..anyhow we kept well clear of the swollen rivers, uprooted trees etc..i had the usual suspects although for some reason i ain't got a pic of Don dog today? Only seen one Roe Deer hightailing it across a stubble field some distance away it was chicken fodder had it been legal and had i wanted to pursue her,she was only on an embankment in some open woodland some 60m wide with a raging river obstructing her way "home" but we rerouted and let her enjoy her freedom and hopefully she will sooner rather than later be able to get to the otherside of the tributary that flows into the River Derwent where she calls home,Ruby along with the lurchers were real interested in an earth i stumbled upon, not sure if or what was at home,it looked unused so im assuming Mr Fox had dropped in when the weather turned bad last night? Anyhow,we had a good wander, bit of education for the pup what with jumping, livestock etc..plus we kept dry apart from a brief shower so happy days.. 18 Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,623
What happened the white and black lurcher I've seen in some of your picture's I like the look of her if you dont mind me asking My eldest son has her at his house mate,my lad has the black pup the litter sister to this red one on here so Swift keeps the pup company plus Swift is the most obedient, hassle free lurcher you could ever see, she's an absloute joy to have around both at home and whilst working..so she will be a great role model for the pup ..the old bitch is still working grand, not much at all escapes her jaws when she gets behind it..been a fantastic bitch she has and i'd not be frightened to take her and run her on the biggest of land even coming on to her seventh birthday..i may take a litter off her next year, she has nothing to prove now or atleast not to me lol.. 17 Quote Link to post

frankel 2,123
Yeah we Defo want a litter of her before its not late, she's still putting plenty game to bed, keeping the freezer full for the pup. We will have to get out with the pups this weekend. Swift 3 Quote Link to post
