Greenfinches Need A New Home.

Recommended Posts

Got some greenfinches to go as not keeping them next year as i have other plans bird wise and i have a normal cock spit for cinny and silver 2012 rung but filled every egg his hens had last year,a couple of cinny and silver hens 2015 bred, daughters on the cock bird and a 2014 cinny hen who reared a few broods ths yearalso a daughter of the cock bird and i have a 2011 lutino hen who reared a couple of nests last year but she's in a cage at the moment letting her wing feathers grow back as she shed them when i caught her up to check her age.

Not really got a price but if your a regular on this section and have around the forum for a while then it won't be silly money i want for them, just don't try to take the p*ss  ..I'll try to find some pics for you but the hens are the same as spanna's new birds as his came from the same nests  ..

Just back from "doing the bird round" and there is also a 2015 normal coloured hen again daughter of the cock so the only true unrelated pair is the cock and lutino hen..

Fireman's greenfinches are the best I have personally seen.

And fireman is a true gent and has become what I call a mate.

These birds I also have in my aviary and they are indeed very beautiful birds indeed.

You will Not get any better birds than fireman's.

Just a bit of recognition for a good deed done and a favour i now owe.....i recently sent a lad close to me over to Fireman as he,s just getting into Finches.......he was given a lovely pair of Greenfinches and an afternoon of collecting information.... Fireman wouldnt take a penny and equally as important offered future help and advice to a newcomer and so a lad i care for a great deal came away extremely happy and eager to smash into his new hobby.......for that i am very grateful

No favours owed Gnasher and it was my choice to gift them to him mate  ,just make sure he asks if he needs help as he was worried he'd ask a silly question and like i said ,no question is stupid or daft if it's to learn from. I wish him all the very best with them and i'm not a million miles away if he ever needs hands on help either,so make sure he bloody asks ok ,thank you for the thanks Gnasher and do well in the new year to you both :victory: ..

Fairplay fireman

He's a cracking fella the chap who now has the pair and he had a choice of a few and chose what his eye liked and just what he needed ;) ,speaks volumes to me that  I just so hope they do as well for him as they did me these last few years as the buzz he'll get from that first successfull brood is fecking priceless to me :D hence why money never came into it .. :victory:
