We are hunters its what we do, its what we do best

 

regardless of cal or the rifles we choose or what ever weapon we use we hunt its in our blood

i think about it every day

 

the rush you get when you have tracked down the pray

 

the feeling of Adrenalin rushing through your body when you line the shot up and take it down

 

and you have one in the bag .

 

The gear we use from the camo gear to boots to gloves to hats, nets ,dogs, right down to the car or 4x4 we use

 

whether it be dogs,ferrets, lamps

 

We are hunters

 

Yes its a sport, but it takes years of dedication to learn iv done it for years but im still learning

 

and will continue to learn right up to the day i have to stop .

 

New things keep popping up and new ways of trying things out .

 

The way you walk the way you need to be silent the way you conceal your self so your not detected by your pray down to the way you smell and the way you wash your camo gear

with no smelly s like fabric softener and so on

 

dont want to walk around the fields smelling of violets do we .

 

The way we learn the land ,the fields the hedges the div-ids in the ground where the easy,ist places to get into the fields .

 

its all part of what we are and if we sat down and worked out how much money we have spent over the years it would run into 1000,s of pounds

but would this mater

 

NO and why

 

because we are hunters

 

and nothing else maters

 

We strive to be the best at what we do the truth is we all ready are every single one of us in our own way

Quite agree Mac, which is exactly what I reminded you when you had the ridiculous idea of packing it in,its either in your blood or not and lets not forget that although we may come under flak from the sweaty hand wringing,bunny hugging brigade, it is not that long ago in the grand scheme of things, where our kind were the most revered members of society, as are hunters in primitive tribes existing today, long may it continue,forget where we come from,and we have no future.
