villaman 9,982
Just have a play with the filters you have. LED,s tend not to filter right and you end up with a coloured white light as opposed to a true colour and in instances they are a waste of time. Read the bloody post right you twat 1 Quote Link to post

bigmac 97kt 13,832
ive just got a new gun lamp and it has red, green, blue and clear built in lights, i don't know which would be the best colour for rabbits & pigeons ( as i haven't done a lot of lamping ) if any would be better than the other that is, just asking the lads that use different filters what they have found works best, any help would be great, thanks Remember do not lamp pigeons at night unless there feral BN as its against the law and white works well on the pigeons feral of course atvbmac  2 Quote Link to post

The one 8,587
I use all the colours lamping at my work a circuit can take up to two hours then back to the start change filter colour and start again , Red I use most and find its the easiest to see things with , Then amber if there a touch lamp shy they don't hang around with amber , blue don't seem to bother them in the slightest , green also works fine but I find it really eerie looking for stuff in a green beam and sometimes struggle till they move 1 Quote Link to post

The one 8,587
We are hitting good numbers once every three weeks there but its like everything else too often and they start getting lampshy , we swop the filters often and aim to be lamping a fresh crop of rabbits by doing it every three weeks 1 Quote Link to post
