Just have a play with the filters you have. LED,s tend not to filter right and you end up with a coloured white light as opposed to a true colour and in instances they are a waste of time.

ive just got a new gun lamp and it has red, green, blue and clear built in lights, i don't know which would be the best colour for rabbits & pigeons ( as i haven't done a lot of lamping ) if any would be better than the other that is, just asking the lads that use different filters what they have found works best, any help would be great, thanks

I use all the colours lamping at my work a circuit can take up to two hours then back to the start change filter colour and start again , Red I use most and find its the easiest to see things with , Then amber if there a touch lamp shy they don't hang around with amber , blue don't seem to bother them in the slightest , green also works fine but I find it really eerie looking for stuff in a green beam and sometimes struggle till they move

We are hitting good numbers once every three weeks there but its like everything else too often and they start getting lampshy , we swop the filters often and aim to be lamping a fresh crop of rabbits by doing it every three weeks
