Think I'd leave somate like that and see if it hung around and watch out for it, would be interesting. Saying that I let black rabbits go while ferreting so I must be a softie.

I had been watching him for a while he was always on his own , I did like him but i think i was having a bad day so he had to die ... we are on a hunting site after all lol

Very true, an old fellow I used to ferret with when I was younger once went mad at me for keeping a black rabbit we bolted. He said it was bad luck. 5 mins later one of the ferrets came up minus it's collar. We had to dig nearly 6 foot to get it back. Of course it was my fault he said cos I Diddnt let the black one go :laugh:

guess it boils down to the interpretation of the word hunting,to me it seems you shot it purely for the feck of it

guess it boils down to the interpretation of the word hunting,to me it seems you shot it purely for the feck of it

 

To you it seems that way , to me it is going to feed my ferrets if i don't get it stuffed . I Thought corvids were fair game myself ... each to their own i suppose .. ever shot a jackdaw rob67 ??????????????????

Some one once told me it was bad luck to shoot a white pigeon or white dove iv not shot one since i just let them go

even if iv been out all day and blanked :laugh:

 

Iv got a nuff bad luck in my life with out adding more lol :laugh:
