Rez 4,961 Posted October 8, 2015 Report Share Posted October 8, 2015 On the manor house permission I have they have a wooded area at the back of the house that over looks a field with young sheep. Its normally good for a rabbit or two, and was this summer gone, anyway, when Im around I always notice two giant Rooks bullying the young sheep. So I set about getting rid with no real hope of achieving the goal. I dropped a youngish rabbit and baited it out from the tree line at 35 yards'ish. The sods are so sharp I thought the further away from the hedge the better. And so the pair arrived 30 minds or so later and started the usual calling from a near by tree, the boney ones shown in another post. I knew it was them as there so distinctive in the way they work together. The bigger of the two dropped in for a look, really cautious mind, and it dropped like a stone. Its mate didn't like it. One bit. It was mightly pissed off in his nearby tree. So I took a sitting supported shot to my left hand side. Down he went too, didn't laser it but gave it 2 and a bit mil dots as a guess.
