walshie 2,804
Pup's 9 weeks old now. He's good as gold most of the time but for about an hour after each meal he goes properly wild. He attacks the big dog, jumps all over the furniture and is generally a little shit. We put him in his kennel for an hour when he does this and he calms right down. Is it the boost of energy he's getting from his food? Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Enjoy the small bit while you can, lol. Good advice that. Mine is still exactly the same at 7 months as she was at 7 weeks. Only she's 24" and 55lb now ? 1 Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Another inch gaz I think she won't go much bigger now what you think ? I'm guessing she's probably done now davey height wise. Maybe another half inch in there. Still a bit of knuckle left. But I'm happy with 24" either way. Just see what shape she ends up. nothernlite 18,268
I think bitches tend to stop about 7 months maybe another inch at the most Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
I think bitches tend to stop about 7 months maybe another inch at the most Yeh I agree. My brindle bitch was 23.5" at 6 months old and finished up at 24". The last 6 months was all head and body shape changing. Quote Link to post

CraignTod 278
Are you getting the pup out the kennel and feeding it straight away? Try feeding after its been out a while and ready to go back in, belly full off food can encourage a short nap ?? Quote Link to post
