villaman 9,982 Posted July 12, 2015 Report Share Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) I know i bang on about the HW100k being one of the best guns out there , accurate , well engineered and not a bad price for what you get with them , would i class it as a supergun , well i don't know really The gun which still amazes me and the people i shoot with is the BSA ultra regged by XTX AIR (Darrin) , i have had more kill with this gun than any other. Dont get me wrong ,i hated this gun at first , low shot count about 20 good shots because of the power curve , but after XTX Air did the magic on the gun it has never let me down in 4 1/2 years , for the price i paid for the gun ,tune and reg ,it still works out cheaper than most regged guns and shoots just as good if not better than most airguns to . If there is such thing as a super gun the i would put my XTX air regged ultra into that category..... Well last night went to one of my permissions ,had a look round the fields with my trusty HW100k , but not a lot about , so went back to the van , had a coffee and put new batteries in the pulsar N550 and the IR ,ready for night time shoot with the spuper BSA regged Ultra .177 Darkness arrived and set of to where the leeks are growing ,walked with in about 40 yards of the start of the growing leeks, turned on the pulsar and spotted 9 rabbits feeding from 40 yards out to 60 yards on the edge of the leaks , went down on one knee ( no i wasn't going to ask them to marry me ether) slotted a JSB heavy 10.3gr pellet in to the first one then the second ,third ,fourth and fifth ,with that the rest disappeared ,so just waited for about 10 minutes and another two came out at 55 yards and 60 yards ,down they went as well , When i shot the 55 yard rabbit it rolled down the bank and no way i could reach it ,so only picked six Edited July 12, 2015 by villaman 4 Quote Link to post
