Tuned Hw80 .22 V Mach V Glided

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Well after a few outings I'm really not getting on with the 80 find it very hold sensitive for me found the perfect pellet to be h&n ftt in 5.53 will stack them on top of each other on the range but just not getting on with it in the field shame really :(

Many hours of work has been put in to this

Had new barrel and had screw cut

Has v Mach kit fitted inc spring

Piston has been v glided

Delrin guide and pre load

Trigger stripped and polished

Re blued cylinder

New barrel bolt and shims

New piston washer

New breech seal

Target crowned barrel

Complete strip polish and properly lubed

Doing a very steady 11.7 with a field with a 6 ft per second variation over 10 shots

Here is the build thread on it

Tempted. But I can only put my 97 on the table and that ain't gonna happen... Plus you've had more 97's than hot dinners. What are you realistically hoping for?

      Evening all,
      Not looking for permission!!
With a lack of game on my ground, I'm looking to get a bit of hunting with ferrets and hawk in exchange for an experience day out with hawks.
I have my own ferrets, hawk, collars, long nets and insurance.
      West Midlands based.
      Pm if you are interested.
      Kind regards

Fancy a change so here up for shops is my 1.77 tweaky regged s200 mk2 but with a mk3 stock. It has 4 x 10 shot mags the gun shoots spot on altho it does need a loading bolt seal which has never bothered me
The gun shoots perfectly as you would expect from a regged gun.
I'm wanting to swop with something with a higher shot count
      No bsa super 10s tho
I can email pics on request.
      Thanks for looking,
